Coaching
Coach Murphy enters his 24th season coaching the distance runners. During that time he has coached multiple state place winners in the distance events. He also serves as Park President on the Board of Commissioners for the Medinah Park District. Coach Murphy graduated with a B.S. from Ball State University in 1988, and his M.S. from National Louis University.
Personal
When Coach Murphy is not teaching Physical Education at the East Campus or coaching, he enjoys maintaining an immaculate yard including 9 hole putting green. He is married with 3 children and lives in Medinah.
