Coach Juraska enters his 16th year at Lake Park. During that time he has earned the reputation of being one of the best Pole Vault coaches in the state. He has had numerous state qualifiers, multiple state place winners and 4 State Champions in that event! Coach Juraska has also served as the head coach for Track and Field at West Chicago High School and the College of DuPage. His efforts have earned him the Dave Pasquini Assistant Coach of the Year award from the IHSA.
Personal
Coach Juraska is a retired middle school History teacher. When he is not coaching, he enjoys fishing. Coach Juraska is married with 3 children and lives in Batavia.
